Hi,
I'm working with programming and I got a bit curious of what tools you are using for developing Crawle. Are you using any specific programming environment/software or have you just been building it all from scratch? Thanks for a very interesting game, Jimmy |

Hello. Crawle is being programmed in an old language called Visual Basic 6 - at the time it was the only language I knew (back in August). And yeah, it's all from scratch minus a few APIs here and there.

Ah, okay. Interesting! I was expecting to see either C++ or maybe C#. But well, as usual it's best to go with the language you know and like the most yourself.

Oh, I despise VB. There're so many bugs caused of the language. The thing with VB6 is, because it's so high-level some of the calculations simply fail. I'm currently looking into C++, C# and C - I'd really love to port Crawle to another language but my understanding of those 3 isn't at the level I'd like it to be at the moment.
